Well, its been a crazy year.

One year ago today, a group of Trolls met in Booty Bay at 5 (Server) to speak (entirely in character!) about the state of Troll cultures being threatened by their alliegances. Though this guild has seen revisions of that original 'general culture' status, the Atal'jinai has always been a bastion for Troll role play. Today, Atal'jinai takes a look at all of its past members, and hopes to welcome new plots and people as it walks into the future.

Recently, there has been a blocked communication line between Zaliji and about six of the applicants. As of this moment, if I have not been in contact with you in the last week, there's a good chance your application was purged from the system. If you are still interested in being an active member in our guild, please reapply. I apologize for any faults on my side during the recruitment process.

As always however, our recruitment remains completely open to those interested in participating in Troll role play!

(( This is something we've been toying around with on and off for a long time, and I figured feedback from the rest of you is important on the matter.

Simply put, do you guys want to have a Location-Based RP channel that could be used while out questing/PvPing/dicking around the AH?

The rules to it are only theoretical at the moment, but they'd be geared to enforcing that we're not running 2 seperate events at one time.  That is to say, you shouldn't be chatting with guildies in Org while simultaneously using the location channel; you'd either ICly be where you are physically, or in the channel.

As far as the specifics as to where this place would be, we'll figure that out if there's a want for it to exist to begin with.

((Zinti, a wonderful officer and friend, passed away Saturday night.  Trezzi has posted information on what happened in this thread. 

She'll be terribly missed.  I wish I could thank her for helping so much to make the game a great place to be, and for being such an excellent player and person.  Let's keep doing our best to make her proud.

We'll be keeping her family and friends in our thoughts.))

(( I know no one wants to hear this, but I'm moving Rin out of the guild to pursue other interests.  Let me explain before you all freak out and start wailing on me.  I never really intended on being in charge of an RP guild, which is not to say that I haven't enjoyed it, but it's not what I want to do.  I'm a PvP junkie at heart who likes to RP.  That doesn't make me the best fit for running an RP guild.

Aizan is back, her real life has settled, and she's more than willing to resume command, so I'll be passing leadership along to her.  I've spent the last few days talking to the officers to make sure everything is in order.  I have a lot of faith that they will do much better things for the guild than I have been.  I WILL NOT BE GONE COMPLETELY FROM ATAL'JINAI.  I will still be running the website, maintaining the Ventrillo server, and doing other officerly things from the view of my alts (except that my responsibilities are purely OOC from an authoritative standpoint).  Makali is my main alt in the guild, some of you know him, so look for him if I'm not on Rin.

I don't expect to cut off ties with any of you.  You're well aware that I'm not the most socially RP-active individual, and to be perfectly frank, I doubt that once the initial shock fades, you'll notice any difference in the quantity of my RP interactions.

I am not saying goodbye OOCly, because I am not leaving in that regard.  I'm just taking one of my toons out, not bailing because I think you all suck or have bad body odor or whatever.  You can still bug me for stuff from the gbank (Makali has full access), runs, advice, RP, whatever.  If you got questions, you can hollar at me ingame.  Keep the hate to the minimum, I got enough of that from Alliance.  I won't bore you with my IC excuse for doing it here, if you want to know, you can talk to me about that as well.

Just letting you all know so there's no confusion, and I'll see you as soon as the damn server goes back up after maintenance.
